Physical Differences:

Diet:

Habitat:
Mole dig raised tunnels in moist, cool soil, usually alone. Vole create shallow underground burrows under dense ground cover and are more active near the surface.

Vole breed year-round, with several litters annually, leading to rapid population spikes. Mole breed once a year, producing fewer offspring and remaining solitary.

Damage:
